Lina Osama

Lina Osama is a multidisciplinary visual artist B. 1986 in Cairo.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in painting 2009 and was granted four scholarships for International Salzburg and Traunkirchen Academies in Austria 2006-2009.
Osama won Mohamed Mounir prize in Cairo Youth Saloon 2007, First Prize in painting at Young Artist Saloon in 2015 and artist's residencies to Siwa Oasis 2009/2018 and has participated in more than 70 art exhibitions in Egypt, Austria, France, Italy, Romania and Morocco since 1999 including Agenda in Bibliotheca Alexandrina 2020, 2018, Humans Exhibition in Made in., Art Gallery in Italy 2016, Printemps du Nil exhibition in Paris 2011, Port Said Biennale 2009, Cairo Youth Saloon 14,18,21,25,26 and 27 editions, exhibition in Gmundten 422, Austria 2008 as well as three solo-shows.
The founder and curator of 'Living Units 1 and 2 International Touring Art exhibitions in Cairo, Nile Art Gallery and Gezira Art Center, Vienna (The Egyptian Cultural Office) and Bucharest (Go Art Projects Gallery) 2016/2018.
Lina Osama has collectibles at the Egyptian Embassy in Vienna and Art Lovers NGO in Cairo, Egyptian Ministry of Culture and with individuals in Egypt, USA, France and Austria.
